GUNNER March Madness 2025

Last month, we hosted a March Madness bracket-style photo contest in our Discussion Den Facebook group. With over 100 submissions, these photos made it to our Final Four, with Sydney Thompson taking home the gold with the winning photo.

If you missed this contest, be sure to join the Discussion Den to catch the next one and get a first look at all things GUNNER.

Sydney Thompson

Diesel
Black Labrador Retriever
6 years old | 62 pounds
Kennel Size: G1™ Intermediate

“His name is Diesel, he is a 6 year old Labrador Retriever he weighs in normally 62lbs and rides in an intermediate kennel. Our favorite activities are waterfowl hunting, and shed hunting, we do a little bit of everything when it comes to hunting, we have participated in hunt tests, shed competitions, dock diving, and just being a great pet! He's an amazing all around dog for being my first Labrador I ever purchased in 2018 while I was still in college, he is now titled in HRCH, MH, WC, CGCA, CGCU, TKP. We learned about Gunner Kennels through mostly Facebook and getting into collecting the Flyaway Series!”

Grayson
Weimaraner-Pit Mix
11 years old | 55 pounds
Kennel Size: G1™ Intermediate

“Our favorite activities include going to the lake, fishing and shed hunting! But we don’t do much without each other.

We discovered Gunner online (I think through Justin Floyd) and bought our first kennel in November during the Black Friday sale!”

Elena Reynolds

West
Black Labrador Retriever
3 years old | 65 pounds
Kennel Size: G1™ Intermediate

“I first heard about Gunner through social media before I even got West. I knew that when I finally got my own hunting dog, that I would HAVE to have one. I was fortunate enough to have participated in a couple of photo shoots with Gunner and got a kennel out of it! However, I do my best to stay up to date on the latest gear and keep my Gunner collection fresh. Some of our favorite activities are duck, pheasant, and grouse hunting, dock diving, hunt tests, and LOTS of retriever training in the summer!”

Jake Delger

Poppy
German Shorthaired Pointer
1 year old | 39 pounds
Kennel Size: G1™ Intermediate

“Poppy is full of energy and always up for an adventure. Whether we’re out hunting, hiking, camping, or shed hunting (as you’ve probably seen), she’s right by my side. We also love to travel. She’s already flown across the country to hunt in different states. Follow along on any of our adventures on social media @jake.delger

I bought our first Gunner kennel the day she was born because I knew that if I was going to keep her safe, I needed the best. I first came across Gunner on social media before I even had a dog, and the build quality and crash rating sold me. It wasn’t even a question. Gunner was the only choice for my girl.”
