Dog days of summer🔥
On Sunday we made the drive down to the Bucks-Montgomery Coon Club for their ukcdogs Bench Show and Field Trial. Had a great time, and the dogs did good. Lina got both line and tree in the champion’s heat of the field trial. And ole Blitz was awarded best of class and best of breed, earning him more points towards his show champion title.
This club is one of the oldest sportsmen clubs in Pennsylvania. I enjoyed looking at all the old photos hanging on the clubhouse walls. Lots of history!
We’re still cheesing from our big day on Wednesday! The level that West and I are training at right now is beyond what the AKC Junior Test asks for, but this experience gave me so much confidence knowing that I’m on the right track with training, and that West is a very capable and talented dog. He has been pretty exhausted the last couple of days since our test, but I can’t wait to dive back into training after some rest. 🖤

Crash testing is a critical part of our R&D, impacting our G1 kennel’s final design, as well as the design of our strap system. When we earned our 5-star crash rating from the Center for Pet Safety, we were also ensuring our Tie Down Strap Kit passed muster.
Boasting a 5,100lb break-strength polyester webbing and a 2,900lb working load capacity (per strap), these straps also have custom, overbuilt Cam Buckles and synthetic treatment to better guard against abrasion, stretching, and fading. You'd be pressed to find a higher-performing strap out there.
