The product does not add width to the Intermediate crate. It does add approximately 4" of length, due to the wheels.
The wheel kit is designed to be pushed, not pulled. Please view our video here, which shows you how to roll the kennel.
When wheels are not engaged, it does not tilt the kennel – meaning the crate will remain level while in your vehicle.

United StatesSo in order to put the wheels on, you have to take the drain plug off and install it over the wheels.So once it is on it basically makes the drain plug useless. So to me it’s a design flaw. In the long run, I wish I had just bought the large kennel vs the intermediate kennel because the wheels would have been flush and the drain plug would have been something I could use. The intermediate kennel is very heavy in my opinion as a girl, but my husband finds it heavy as well. The wheels make transporting it so much easier. But between the additional cost and design flaws, if you can make do with the larger size, just do it. Besides that- the kennel is awesome!
