ESCAPE PROOF DESIGN

Trust the thousands of reviews that say the same: even Houdini couldn't figure out our door system. Our GUNNER kennel door is the powerful player in this safety equation, designed to contain the K9 before, during & after a wreck.
A black hunting dog sits inside a green dog crate with the door open, looking upward. The crate is attached to the back of a vehicle, and sunlight shines in the background, highlighting essential outdoor gear.

10% COOLER

Our kennel is cooler than yours. Really. The GUNNER stays consistently cooler than leading aluminum & single-wall rotomolded crates. Here's the science behind that.
A black Labrador hunting dog lies down inside a green crate, resting its head and paws on the edge while looking out with gentle, soulful eyes.

20% LESS ENERGY

Your dog likes our kennel better, too. They expend 20% less energy to stay warm in the GUNNER in freezing temps, compared to leading single-wall rotomolded & aluminum kennels. Here's the proof.
A textured paper taped to a background features a quote about creating better dog crates, with bold text saying, Like some of the best stories, ours begins with a dog crate, and is signed by Addison Edmonds, Founder.

"HIGHWAY ROLLOVER AT 70 MPH"

"My car flipped completely upside down on the highway and the Gunner crate is still completely intact and my dog does not have a SCRATCH on him. Cannot recommend this crate enough."

"SAVED MY DOG"

"I had the kennel for exactly one week & got in a wreck, my chocolate lab was in the kennel at the time. We hit an oak tree going 65 MPH. Not a single thing was wrong with my dog or the kennel! The kennel hit so hard that it crushed a steel tool box that was bolted on my truck. I would recommend GUNNER to any dog owner in the world."

Slickest looking kennel in my friend group. Safest too.

"I’ve gotta say, so far so good. Things went together easily after shipping. They supplied extra bolts, nuts and washers. The quality seems on point with what I read and heard from friends and the sizing for my WPG pup is very accurate. I look forward to years of good hunting ahead. When you invest this much time and money in a gun dog you want the absolute best to protect them. This Gunner Intermediate is exactly that!"

snug in my bug!

"Super easy to strap into my backseat, and my dog was almost immediately comfortable and relaxed the first time we put it to use. The medium was the perfect size for my 27lb beagle, and fit snugly in my VW Beetle. I love our new gunner, and it gives me great peace of mind to know my dog is safe when we're traveling together!"

5 Stars Plus

"I have been wanting a Gunner kennel for a very long time. My dog is a service dog and he is always in the car with me. I worry about his safety if there was to be a crash. I didn't want to spend money on a lesser kennel for him to travel in. I was finally able to purchase his very own Gunner and am so pleased with it! It's better than I imagined it would be. Thank you for building such a high quality kennel that will protect my favorite boy for years to come!"

— Felicia R. (5/5)

Built to Last

"As a building contractor, solid construction is my family’s livelihood. If I’m being ruthlessly honest, I initially had a really hard time spending the money. The Large G1 Kennel in tan with the Mossy Oak Bottomland door has lived up to the hype. This kennel is American quality at its finest. The tie down straps, the kennel door bowl, the all weather cover 2.0, and the long haul bed have all met my very high expectations. My black lab absolutely loves it!"

— Cole F. (5/5)

Large Crates

"I’m glad we got crates before truck left factory. We had time to work w/ both dogs and they are extremely comfortable during rides. There is no more barking as we pass people / other dogs. I do miss them in the cab but I know this is safer. Lastly, we added a XTR3 custom bed rack (6-8 wks lead time) that will secure the entire bed / crates for added stability / security."

— Jonathan H. (5/5)

Loving our new kennel

"Loving our new kennel! Well made and we are very happy Penny will be safe. We went with an Intermediate size for our small female Vizsla. She’s 38lbs."

— Kimberley D. (5/5)

Bad A$$

"This thing is a beast. Well worth the wait. Kennel bowl and fan set up are perfect. Ordered a bed to go with it, then we will be ready to roll. Can’t wait. Well played, Gunner, well played."

— Dan P. (5/5)

This is my first time

"This is my first time buying a kennel and I’m extremely impressed with how rugged it is! Our eight week old Golden Retriever loved it! We bought the intermediate size and we own a 2025 Subaru Forester Touring. The kennel fits well in the trunk, but with the back right seat down."

— Alexis D. (5/5)

Safe Adventures with Cowboy!

"After looking into so many kennel options, we felt GUNNER was the best choice for our boy, Cowboy. We put so much time and training into our sweet boy, so we wanted to support a business that works just as hard to keep him safe. We’re big travelers, and knowing Cowboy is safe in a kennel we trust gives us so much peace of mind on our longer trips. He absolutely loves getting in the back of the truck because he knows he’s going on another fun adventure! 🤎🐾 We couldn’t be happier with our GUNNER"

— Erin J. (5/5)

The wife approves

"When I was looking at kennels I wanted the best for my new hunting dog. The wife wasn’t happy about the price until a couple days ago and she saw the competitors kennels. At that point she said we made the right choice and the gunner is definitely better and worth it."
