"Gunner replaced my 1st All Weather Kit. The new iteration has beefier Velcro that is is supposed to have higher UV resistance after years of the TX sun led to the straps weakening and tearing off. Gunner had no issue replacing the kit under warranty. So while the prices may seem high, when factoring in the total value and the cost of ownership especially when they replace a part that was a few years old with no questions asked, I think the value is truly there. I expect many more years of service from the kennel and accessories that provide a safe and comfortable kennel for my Duck Getter to travel in."

"Great product. Install was easy. Keeps my dog comfortable in 4 season weather. The Velcro straps that keep the sides rolled up have all broken due to UV exposure. Gotta rethink that retention design. The rest of the material has zero issue going on 3 years."

"There were zero instructions. I’m not sure if the fabric on the handles are supposed to go through the slots in cover or they are supposed to be on top with the screws through the slots. I put the handles through and the screws beneath. I’m not a very smart person so good chance I did it wrong"

Exactly what I was looking for!

"I bring my dog Shelby with me everywhere. She’s my working dog. So when I purchased the intermediate kennel I knew I had to also get the all weather kit too. With my last kennel I made a makeshift cover but it would always get ruined within a matter of days. The all weather kit has been on now for about 3 weeks and has sustained multiple long road trips as well as daily driving. It doesn’t flap in the wind. The window covers stay don’t with the snaps and Velcro. She has stayed dried during multiple rain storms as well. She stays nice and cool during the warmer days also. It’s worth every penny and I have zero worries for my dog while she’s in the back. Absolutely love it!"

Can you use this cover on the early model Gunnar kennels?
Hey! Yes, our All Weather kit can be used with any kennel that we have ever released. Just be sure that the sizes match.
I have a G1 Medium kennel. It seems to have a different window design than those shown on your web site. It has squarish window's, two per side, whereas your site shows vertical slits. Will the weather kit fit my style of kennel?
Hey! Yes, we do offer an All Weather specifically for the G1™ Medium. It will work with the design of the G1™ Medium kennels.
Does this crate comply with IATA for transporting pets?
Our G1™ does meet airline requirements, provided that you follow certain guidelines that pertain to consumer requirements (i.e. ""live pet"" label, accessible water and food containers, weight limit and size compliant, etc.) that are the responsibility of the pet owner. We can say that we have had plenty of customers who have successfully transported their dogs through airlines using GUNNER but we have also had customers turned away due to the weight of the kennel + dog. I'll include a link here with more information on air travel with the G1™: https://help.gunner.com/hc/en-us/articles/360055515551-Is-the-G1-crate-airline-approved-good-for-airplanes- We always recommend confirming with whatever your airline you are traveling with, regardless, as each has its own set of specifications.
Is there a way to use a size Medium kit on a size Small kennel? Looking at it it feels like I could do it and just cinch it down more, but not sure if I'm missing something.
Due to the size difference between the G1™ Small and Medium, the All Weather kit for the Medium will not work properly on the Small. Even tightening it down will still allow the elements to get into the kennel.
