The Food Crate construction is specifically designed to encourage easy cleaning. The seamless lip and interior means you can hose it off - inside and out - to ensure there's no debris, grit or grime. It's also built to allow for easy drying, as excess moisture can cause mold and mildew to grow on food.

KEEP YOUR DOG SAFE
Repeatedly adding food to your container without cleaning can make the interior greasy with rancid oil. That could potentially contaminate fresh food. Inspect your Food Crate and make it a habit to wash it with dish soap and water, or distilled white vinegar if it needs a longer soak.

YOUR DOG IS IN GOOD HANDS
Once you open a bag of dog food, it's exposed to the elements and degradation begins. The three main factors that affect the nutritional value of dog food once it's been opened are air, moisture and temperature. The GUNNER Food Crate guards against all of these. "I'm very pleased with the G1 Kennel in black. It's tie downed with the Gunner straps. I attached the Gunner Fan Kit to the side of the kennel nearest a plug so that it can be easily charged and used at the same time during travel. I've only used the Gunner Performance Pad so far for day trips. I have the Gunner Orthopedic Pad for use on future overnight trips. BlackJack, aka JACK, seems to be comfortable in the kennel, and he's not a great fan of kennels. I also have the black Gunner Food Storage Crate in 30, along with the black Food Scoop, and two red Bowls with lids. I use the Food Storage, Food Scoop, and Bowls with lids for home and travel."
