Ali is a professional dog trainer, who first worked with a K9 at 10 years old. She personally owns three dogs –Ruger (Dutch Shepherd), Kona and Cali (Australian Cattle Dogs) – and handles them in dock diving and agility competitions. The catalyst for full-time training was an accident that severely impacted her life, and the dog who she says was a life-saver during that time.
Dogs are and have been a huge part of my life, aiding in my recovery from an accident – and being an alert or remedy to some mental health that followed from the accident.
My partner, Colten, and I love getting out with the dogs – taking them out for a run on the quads, going hiking, camping, being out on the water with them, paddle boarding.
Cali, who's still with me. Our bond is something I an't describe. What I have overcome with her is invaluable.
Karilean Bear Dog. I love bears, and think this breed is really amazing in the reduction of bears killed in communities.
My mom. She is such a strong individual and has shown and taught me you can power through anything on your own.
