Good to Know

Use In Travel
We also recommend removing the bowl from the kennel when not in use, in order to discourage teeth on the product, as well as to ensure the safety of your dog during travel.

Keep It Clean
The construction of the kennel bowl is designed to encourage easy cleaning, so you can hose it off and go. For a deeper clean, wash it with dish soap and water – or distilled white vinegar when a longer soak is required.

Due to the product's integrated magnets we do not advise running the bowl through the dishwasher.

This Bowl is Overbuilt
See a swirl pattern traveling across the bowl's surface? That's created by the fibers inside the nylon used to reinforce the toughness of the material. It's the same ultra-durable nylon used to construct our G1™ kennel door. We had a choice between making the bowl look pretty or ensuring it was heavy duty. We chose the rugged route.

Warning: High-Drive K9s & Chewers
The intensity of a K9 with adrenaline can be unrivaled and therefore this product may not be suitable for all dogs, especially those with a tendency to chew. You know your dogs best; please pay close attention to their behavior after installing the product if you have any concerns. Do not use the product if you feel as if the product could be a hazard to your dog.

"My 4 month old lab was whimpering a lot while in the kennel for long periods of time. We suspected it was because he would get thirsty and see his water bowl sitting out in front where he couldn’t access it. Now we hear no whimpering while he is in there and notice he does drink some water from the bowl when left for periods of time. This in-kennel water bowl is great! It has a good capacity and the way it installs to the door makes it worry free for it being in the way of him laying down. 10/10 I highly recommend worth the investment to have a happy dog!"

"I love the bowl and how it is truly overbuilt. I love that it’s easy to take off and put on as well as the easy water funnel. If I could make a suggestion, to accommodate your small or medium kennels I wish you overbuilt a smaller bowl so that 2 of them would fit those kennels. Overall, great kennel bowl just need an appropriate size for 2 to fit the smaller kennels. Thanks for listening, your products are outstanding."

Q&A

Hello, happy owner of the kennel bowl. However I was wondering if there were any plans to come out with a stainless steel version?
Hey! We do not have any plans to do a stainless steel version. We recommend signing up for our email list as that will be the first place we notify about any new product releases.
Is the crate IATA approved for air transportation ?
Our G1™ does meet airline requirements, provided that you follow certain guidelines that pertain to consumer requirements (i.e. ""live pet"" label, accessible water and food containers, weight limit and size compliant, etc.) that are the responsibility of the pet owner. We can say that we have had plenty of customers who have successfully transported their dogs through airlines using GUNNER but we have also had customers turned away due to the weight of the kennel + dog. I'll include a link here with more information on air travel with the G1™: https://help.gunner.com/hc/en-us/articles/360055515551-Is-the-G1-crate-airline-approved-good-for-airplanes- We always recommend confirming with whatever your airline you are traveling with, regardless, as each has its own set of specifications.
Does water bowl fit into G1 Small crate

Can I fit two of these (one for water and one for food) in a medium and an intermediate? (I have two dogs)
Hey! Due to the size of the doors, you can only fit one bowl on the G1™ Medium. You can fit two on the G1™ Intermediate.

Our Kennel Bowl attachment was made specifically for the G1™ Kennel door so we are not able to guarantee this product will work for other kennels. If you have any additional questions you can contact our CX team and we are happy to help!
