Late one afternoon Spencer and Candace loaded up their 1-year-old yellow lab, Tuck, and their 4-year-old Yorkipoo, Si, in their friend’s Toyota Tundra to head back home. They were first going to drop off the truck and his Polaris Ranger, and were traveling about 60 MPH on a four-lane highway towards Northport when disaster struck.
Khara Schuetzner and K9 Blitzkrieg – a certified North American Police Work Dog Association (NAPWDA) Cadaver Dog – were traveling on a highway when they were hit by another car and pushed into oncoming traffic. Khara’s Highlander was totaled, but Blitz was safe in his G1™. Here’s their story.
