“To see her car completely destroyed and the GUNNER with nothing more than a couple of scratches on them is a feeling that is unexplainable. Thank you for making the safest kennel on earth. You saved the lives of her family.”

"A few days ago Sammy (one of our Training Assistants) was in a horrible car accident. She was T-boned by someone running a red light at around 50+ miles per hour. Her car flipped twice and landed facing the opposite direction she was driving. One witness said she was completely airborne during the first roll.

Thank God Sammy only suffered a mild concussion and bruising. I happened to be a block away getting breakfast at the time of the accident and came racing over when she called me. The police told her to stay in the car until the ambulance got there, but of course all she wanted to do was check on her dogs, but we both knew they were completely fine because they were in GUNNER (Intermediate and Large) Kennels.

The inside of the car was completely smashed in and the car was totaled. In one split second your entire life can truly flash before your eyes. Seeing the aftermath of the accident felt like a movie. All that mattered was that she and her dogs were all alive.

Watching the first responders use the Jaws of Life to pry the hatch open to get to the dogs out was totally surreal. Knowing how differently this could have ended for her makes me sick to think about.

To see her car completely destroyed and the GUNNER Kennels with nothing more than a couple of scratches on them is a feeling that is unexplainable.

We know that these kennels are expensive, but you can finance them [...] If your vehicle is large enough and your dog can fit, I urge you stop letting your dog ride loose. If you know us well you know we are sticklers for this.

It’s easy to forget that driving is the single most dangerous thing we do every day.

There will be a follow up to this post next week about what we all learned from this experience as we’d really like to share that critical information with you all. For now we are having a relaxing weekend with Sammy and her dogs being so thankful that we are even getting the chance to do so.

Sammy and all of us at Flash thank you for making the safest kennel on earth @GunnerKennels. You saved the lives of her family."
