KENNEL BOWL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much food or water does the Kennel Bowl hold?

The Kennel Bowl holds at least 6 cups of water or food (depending on the type of food). On the inside of the bowl, there are demarcations for 2 cups, 4 cups, and 6 cups so you can easily measure before sliding the bowl in place on the door.

Can more than one Kennel Bowl fit on the kennel?

(2) kennel bowls will fit on the bottom panels of the Intermediate & Large doors.

(1) kennel bowl will fit on the bottom panels of the Small & Medium doors.

Is the Kennel Bowl dishwasher safe?

We do not recommend placing your Kennel Bowl in the dishwasher, largely due to the integrated magnets that act as a locking mechanism for the custom mounting bracket.

Good to note: Repeatedly adding food to your Kennel Bowl without cleaning can make the interior greasy with rancid oil. That could potentially contaminate fresh food. We recommend making it a habit to wash it with dish soap and hot water, or distilled white vinegar if it needs a longer soak.

Can the Kennel Bowl be left on permanently?

We designed the Kennel Bowl mounting bracket, so that the product can be easily removed when not in use. We always recommend removing the bowl from the kennel when not in use, in order to discourage teeth on the product, as well as to ensure the safety of your dog during travel. However, if desired the Kennel Bowl can technically be left on the inside of the kennel door on a more permanent basis.
