This pad is sewn with the same Kevlar thread used to make bullet proof vests and ensures maximum seam strength for maximum tear resistance.

Observe your dog's behavior before purchase for chewing, as some items may not be appropriate for your K9. The dog beds are hand-crafted with Kevlar thread (the same material used to sew bulletproof vests), providing a 5x stronger seam strength than any other dog bed out there. That being said nothing is 100% "chew proof" and this product may not be suitable for dogs who chew, those with anxiety and/or teething puppies.

Description

Our American Made premium orthopedic dog pad is designed with a 1680 Denier-Rated ballistic nylon and a 2" cooling memory foam, allowing for maximum recuperation and for dogs' pressure points to rest comfortably above the kennel's rotomolded surface.

The 2-inches of Pure Core Support Foam and True Cool Memory Foam keep your dog at optimal temperature, and ensures the materials doesn't break down or dip for excellent support of the whole body.

"My girl enjoyed the bed for about 2/3 uses before digging and ultimately shredding the mattress while being in her kennel with it. Was a let down honestly as the crate is built for dogs who dig and act crazy in crates so it would’ve made more sense for the bed to be a bit more durable under those conditions… especially for the price :/"

My Dog Chewed a hole on the first Use

"I priivously had another Kennel bed from gunner and it lasted a long time. This new one i bought did not last one day. I first use and my dog was able to bite and make a hole on the Bed. I still have my original bed, which is still solid to use, it seems to be better quality. My dog have not been able to chew through it for over 3 years."

Q&A

Recommendations on drying the memory foam insert if it does get wet?
Hey! We recommend taking it out of the cover, setting it out in an open, well ventilated area, and letting it air dry.
I've had the bed for a year, and I never took a look at the foam, it seems to have clear, light and dark brown pebbles is this normal? I've never seen memory foam like this.

What are the dimensions of the Orthopedic pads? It's not listed on the site.
Hey! The Orthopedic beds are designed to specifically fit our kennels. They will have the same dimensions as the interior footprint of the kennel. It will ultimately depend on which size kennel you are purchasing.
Is there anyway to clean the padding inside the orthopedic bed? I wash the outside cover and let it air dry. I can’t find how to get the smell out of the padding that the bed is made out of. Does anyone know how to take care of this problem ?
I'm sorry to hear about the trouble cleaning your Orthopedic Bed. I might suggest spraying a mixture of vinegar and water on the foam itself to deodorize it and then let it air dry. We have had a lot of customers do this to remove strong odors on their dog beds without using harsh chemicals. You can also spot clean this foam insert like you would with a carpet with a carpet cleaner. The memory foam is not waterproof so you won't want it to get too wet
If my dog has a potty accident, is the pad waterproof?
