WARNING: This cover may cause dogs to overheat in warm weather conditions. This cover is designed for more extreme cold environments, which is why we've designed it to be easily removable. Dogs should be closely monitored in variable weather conditions, and we advise not leaving your dog unattended in any extreme weather.

WARNING: This product is designed for outdoor use. Using this product indoors, in a car, or under a truck topper in conjunction with an All Weather Kit (or another product's cover option) for an extended period of time can lead to toxic levels of carbon dioxide inside the kennel.

Description

The Cold Weather Door Cover is our extreme cold solution, custom fit for your GUNNER kennel. Designed to attach and remove easily, strong enough to stay put on the move.

Made with thermoformed foam laminated in waterproof TPU, the CWD includes heavy duty magnets for attachment, an alignment clip to keep the panel snug, and a back-up safety lanyard to secure to the kennel door. Strategic holes placed throughout the design allow for airflow.

Pair this accessory with our All-Weather Kit 2.0 and your dog will expend 1/10th as much energy keeping warm in subzero temperatures.

Please Note: the Cold Weather Door Cover does not include the G1™ kennel or the AWK accessory, both of which are sold separately. Available for Small, Medium, Intermediate and Large sized kennels.

How would this Cold Weather Door paired with the All Weather Kit preform in Canada Winters where its -20 to -30 Degrees Celsius?
Hey! Thanks for reaching out. We recommend the cold weather door and all-weather kit be paired together in anything below freezing (32º F), but we have not tested it in temperatures that cold. The combination of the two is definitely the warmest accessory bundle we have to offer, but we have not done any testing in weather that cold specifically! I hope this helps.
What is the temperature needed to use this product? The coldest I see in Washington is about 15 degrees. This will be paired with the all weather kit 2.0
This cover is designed for more extremely cold environments, which is why we've designed it to be easily removable -- using the cover in warm weather conditions, especially paired with the AWK, could cause dogs to overheat. Because every environment and situation is different, we can't advise a specific point to stop using the door – we say dogs should be closely monitored in variable weather conditions (ex: if you are using it in the morning when it's 30 degrees and climbs to mid-40s by mid-morning with stagnant movement and no extreme elements, you would consider removing the door).
